Well I'm Fucked

The U may have invented swagger, however, it just butt fucked my god damn bracket. You know going into the tourney you think a team with a ton of experience who played together forever and a veteran team would be the one. But nope. They can't fucking hit a shot all god damn game and butt fuck me.

Look at this god damn bracket. It should make a fucking blind man cry.

Fucking fucks.

I Can't Wait For The NCAA Tournament

Honestly, has anything been better than the NCAA regular season this year?

You can pretty much guarantee that there will be at least one top 10 upset every weekend/ week. I have never seen anything like this before in my life Indiana, Michigan, Duke, Miami, Louisville and Syracuse all didn't want to be the number 1 seed. But they are extremely tough teams.

With Kentucky probably not tournament bound with Noel hurt and with them being unable to come together, I am probably going to have Michigan and Miami going far. I like Michigan a lot due to their playmakers and the fact half of their starters are related to some NBA player(Hardaway Jr, Horford and Robinson III), despite their embarrassing loss to Penn State, I still think this team has the potential to make some noise in later March.

Also, I have bought completely into Miami. Yes, they just lost to Duke, but Ryan Kelly decided to be the greatest player of all time and Miami missed some huge opportunities to win. Half of their squad are seniors or 5th year seniors. They have playmakers and then have an inside player in Reggie Johnson (who had an awful Duke game). They have the experience, the tenacity and skill to make it to at least the elite eight or final four.

This year has just been so awesome from an unbiased fan (because Kentucky is out of it) and there is zero percent chance that anyone is going to have a great bracket.

Nerlens Noel Out For The Year With ACL Tear

So there goes my whole Kentucky will be a sleeper until the tournament and be a shock the world team, much like Kemba Walkers UConn team.

This injury sucks and this kills any chance Kentucky has at making a run. Noel (a Brockton kid) was the number 1 recruit (maybe 2, I don't know if Shabazz was 1) coming into this year. He was supposed to be the next Anthony Davis and although he wasn't he still was a defensive monster. On the year he averaged 10 points, 9.5 rebounds and 4.4 blocks. Kentucky struggled to match last year and that is due to lack of leadership and guard play. However, the good thing that will come out of this injury is that Noel could return back to Lexington to make an already stacked Kentucky recruiting class even better next year.

I am assuming Goodwin and Poythress will leave to the NBA, but having Harrow back and Nerlens on top of the recruiting class will be really good next year.

So far this hasn't been a good year for my favorite teams and ACLs, 1st Rondo and Barbosa and now Noel. AJ McCarron better watch out, his knee could be next.

Is This The Craziest NCAA Basketball Season Ever

How many number 1's must go down each week. It seriously seems like every week the number 1 team goes down, this week it was Indiana, last week was Michigan, then Duke, Indiana again, Duke, Louisville, NC State, etc. It's just crazy this whole season. Hell Boston College only lost to Duke by 1 point yesterday.

This makes me just super excited for the NCAA Tournament which is sure to be on the edge of your seat good. The whole ACC is wide open, the Big 10 has a lot of good teams in their and you have so many lurking in the shadows as well. We have a new number 1 for the 6th straight week.

Either way, every Saturday has lived up to the college basketball expectations. March is going to be so fucking good.

I really hope Miami is the number 1 team this week.

Don't Look Now.....

But Kentucky just had their arrival party by beating number 16 Ole Miss last night.

Kentucky is a weird team, they have no leadership and no veterans on the team. Calipari has too many cooks in the kitchen this year, a lot of great individual freshman but not a good TEAM. Nerlens Noel is good (Not Anthony Davis, but good), Alex Poythress is great, Archie Goodwin and Ryan Harrow are great individual players but they don't have a Darius Miller or the team effort given to them by MKG or Anthony Davis on a nightly basis, their guard play is atrocious and are extremely inconsistent. They can make some noise in the tourney.

The thing with this tournament compared to ones in the past, is I have zero clue who is the number 1 team. We have seen Indiana, Duke, Louisville, Syracuse and now Michigan be ranked number 1 and not be able to hold it together. I can't wait for March Madness because it is going to be so unpredictable and fun.
