It is sounding like it is a done deal. We don't have the years or the amount yet, but every expert seems to be saying that Welker is going to sign with the Broncos today.
My immediate reaction? This fucking sucks.
Now, we don't know the full story. Maybe he is heavily overpaid. Maybe the Patriots will go out and sign Pollard, Amendola, and Talib/Asomugha. Yet, this is feels wrong. Walker could end up being remember for two big drops rather than what he should be remember for which is being the first WR ever to have five 110-catch season.
It's a huge blow, and if it's true I wonder what Tom Brady thinks about all of this?
