One Good Thing Did Happen This Weekend

Dr. Jerry Buss died adding to the Laker misery for the year.

Jerry Buss' children intend on carrying out their father's succession plan for the Los Angeles Lakers following the iconic owner's death Monday.

The plan, which was put in place years ago by Buss, calls for his daughter, Jeanie, to become the Lakers' governor and represent the team at the NBA board of governors meetings. She will also handle the business operations of the team.

Jerry Buss had a hell of run as the owner of the Lakers, he was a self made millionaire doing real estate or chemistry or something. He has 10 total NBA championships from the Showtime Lakers to the Shaqless Lakers of a couple years ago. I don't know how much he actually did now adays but he always put the Lakers in a position to win with big names nearly every year.... it was annoying.

It sucks losing an iconic owner, just like how we did a couple years ago when Red passed.

Either way I hope that the Lakers continue their epic slide and it gets to be more hostile between Kobe and Dwight.
