Yesterday we saw the 2011 and 2012 version of Jon Lester. He sucked an was lucky to get the W, I am willing to forgive him this time because he has pitched really well this year. However, 5.2 innings, 3 runs and 6 walks is not what we want from our "Ace". Luckily this was not the pitchers dual that Bob predicted as Brett Anderson sucked more than Jon Lester. He let up 6 runs in 4 innings.
There were a couple hiccups from Taz and from Koji, but again, I'm willing to forgive those, and Andrew Bailey had his strongest inning as a closer with 3 Ks.
The Bad. Shane Victorino will be landing on the DL. I don't know if it's true or not, it just seemed that he was awfully gimpy in the 7th and that would suck because he's played really well for us so far.
