Sounds Like Bynum's Season Is Over

Philadelphia 76ers general manager Tony DiLeo said that Andrew Bynum is considering arthroscopic surgery on his balky knees and that the organization has yet to decide whether to attempt to sign the one-time All-Star center once he becomes a free agent after this season.

Wow, this deal keeps getting worse for the 76ers. It's sad, because someone still end up giving this guy a lot of money, and he just can never stay healthy. There are so few good big men in the league that everyone always overpays for this type of player. I mean he is still just 25 years old, and this free agent class is really weak, so even if he sits out the season I bet he get top dollar.

Basically the 76ers gave up an All-Star and two solid young guys for nothing.
