A-Rod is making $29 million this year, which is insane, but it find it horrific that the entire Astros team only makes $25 millio. This goes back to the main problem with baseball. Yes, I think there should be a salary cap, but even more than that I think this sport needs a salary minimum. It's a joke that Houston is putting the team they are on the field. What shot do this really have?
Yes, I know we can all point to teams that have been able to make the playoffs with a low payroll, but I think we can all agree that this is beyond sad. There is just no reason to not put more money into their teams.
