Rangers @ Bruins Preview

It's crazy to think about but the NHL season is already 1/4 over. This is the last time the Rangers and Bruins will meet during the regular season. So far it is split 1-1 in the series with the Bruins losing last time in an overtime loss.

Even with that loss, thing in Boston have been outstanding. Boston is off to their best start in franchise history (8-1-1). Their defense has been stellar, Rask hasn't seemed to skip a beat taking over for Thomas, and although their offense isn't exactly rolling yet it has been good enough with the potential to be stellar by seasons end.

The bad news for tonight is that I don't think Marchand is going to be able to play with a hurt shoulder, and he is the Bruins leading scorer. That sure doesn't help when you are going against on the of the best goalies in the NHL (Henrik Lundqvis).

The Rangers are just 6-5-0 on the season, but have been playing a lot better lately winning 3 of their last 4 games. The Rangers have a shit load of talent and it's just a matter of time before they really start playing well and they are the team I most fear in the Eastern Conference.

Bruins win 3-2 (OT)
Player of the Game: Seguin
Game starts at 7:30pm
