J.J. Redick Is The Biggest Name Dealt During The Deadline

It's amazing that JJ Redick is the biggest name that got traded.  Redick is an all right role player but he's not a franchise make or break player, and especially because he went from one irrelevant team to another one, I could care less.

The real loser in all of this is the Atlanta who is going to lose Josh Smith this off season and got nothing for him.  It's amazing they pulled out of a 3 team swap at 2:59.

I'll get into the Celtics with the next post, but I really don't get why teams like the Spurs or Clippers go all in for J Smoove.  I bet the spurs could have given up Tiago Splitter and Kawhi Leonard and gotten Josh.  Imagine a line up of Parker, Manu Ginobelli, Stephen Jackson, Josh Smith and Tim Duncan.  That's a favorite for the Championship.

Just a real weird deadline.
