Felix Doubront Is An Asshole

 I have always stuck up for Felix Doubront. I thought at worst he was a great guy to have coming out of the bullpen, but also I thought if he could stay healthy he could be a very good 4/5 starter for the Red Sox. Yet, he seems to have gone the way of so many other Red Sox starters.

2 out of the last 3 years Doubront has shown up out of shape and it has happened again (he is now fat and has a sore shoulder). Pedro Martinez even commented about it. Some pitchers can pitch fat, but Doubront is a guy who has got tired in the past, and is already dealing with shoulder fatigue this spring. It's just unacceptable for a guy who really has a chance to be a Red Sox starter for years to come to just show up fat. It shows you how little he cares.

Hopefully whatever Pedro's speech is to him helps, but honestly if he doesn't give a shit to earn a spot then he is probably hopeless.
