Braves Trade For Justin Upton

The Atlanta Braves have agreed to a trade to acquire outfielder Justin Upton and third baseman Chris Johnson from the Arizona Diamondbacks for pitcher Randall Delgado, infielder Martin Prado and minor leaguers Nick Ahmed, Brandon Drury and Zeke Spruill, sources tell ESPN.

From what I have been hearing this deal had to be done, because Justin Upton was very upset with Arizona. Yet, who can blame him? They have tried to trade him seemingly every year, and the guy has been a pretty damn good player.

Not a bad trade for Arizona though, they got some good talent back, and it seems this deal was way better than anything else anyone was offering. Prado is an infielder they wanted, and Delgado was the 46 best prospect going into last season.

For the Braves BJ Upton, Justin Upton and Heyward give them an incredibly gifted outfield that can do everything, and could be there for a long time.
