The Red Sox couldn't have asked for a better start to the season. I don't want to get ahead of myself, because the Yankees are basically a AAA team right now, but with how bad things have been over the two last years it's not to have positive stories coming from them.
Tonight we get Dempster vs Pettitte. I was not thrilled with the Dempster signing. He seems like a guy that can be decent in the NL, but can't handle AL lineups. Time will tell, but with how bad the Yankees likeup is right now I actually think he is going to have a very strong start tonight.
Pettitte in the past has been a Red Sox killer, but he is very over the hill. I think this is yet another guy the Red Sox won't let go deep into the game, and like I have said I trust the Red Sox bullpen overall a lot more than the Yankees.
