Doug Collins Quits As 76ers Coach
Doug Collins has resigned after three seasons as coach of the Philadelphia 76ers and will remain with the franchise as an adviser. DP and I were talking and this guy got a real bad deal with the 76ers. They promised they wouldn't trade Andre Iguodala, then they got him a big man who never played, and filled the team with a bunch of guys who are streaky shooters. I mean what was he supposed to do with that?
I think he is a pretty good coach, and I think it's dumb he is sticking around, because he is better than a lot of coaches that currently have jobs.
