Iginla Says He'd OK Deal To Bruins

I wrote a little while back that there were rumors the Bruins were looking at Jarome Iginla. One of that biggest problems with making a deal is that Iginla has a no trade clause, but there are reports today that state he would waive his no trade clause in deals with the Bruins, Blackhawks, Kings and Penguins.

Out of those teams there are several reports that suggest the Bruins are working the hardest to acquire him. His price shouldn't be too high, as he is 35 years old, and is in the last year of his current deal. The Bruins really could use a scorer, and Iginla (despite his age) would be an enormous addition to the Bruins.

We will keep you posted as we find out more. The NHL trade deadline is April 3rd, so except this story to progress quickly.
