Celtics @ Pacers Preview
The Celtics are playing again tonight as they look for their 4th straight victory, but it could be a tough one as they are going Indiana to play a team that has won 7 of their last 8 games, and are currently in 2nd place in the Eastern Conference.
I don't like this game for the Celtics at all. They are on the road, they are playing a back-to-back game, against a red hot team that has good post players. Should-be Celtic David West is averaging 24 points in his last 4 games, and the Pacers have won 21 of 24 at home (allowing just 89 ppg).
On the up side of things Bradley is really playing at a high level, and Jeff Green is hitting his stride. Boston has won three straight and eight of the last 11 meetings with Indiana. They are going to need both those guys to play well, and Pierce to have a very "on" night, because I can't see how they are going to be able to control the boards at all.
Going into this I was going to take the Pacers by 6, but I have this odd feeling that Pierce is going to explode tonight. I don't know why, but I'm talking 30+ points.
Celtics win 94-91
