4 Alabama Players Arrested

"Defensive end D.J. Pettway (second-degree robbery), and linebackers Tyler Hayes (second-degree robbery) and Brent Calloway (fraudulent use of a credit card) were arrested Monday along with Williams, according to online records from the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office. Eddie Williams, who was also a safety in high school but did not play a down at his listed position as a receiver for Alabama in 2012, was first arrested Sunday on a charge of carrying a pistol without a license.

According to a police report acquired by at least two Alabama newspapers, Williams admitted to investigators that he physically assaulted another man "and rendered him unconscious" on campus Monday morning at 3:21 CT at Bryant Hall dormitory. Williams then stole a credit card and used it for several purchases, according to police. The report said it was used at a vending machine (ESPN)."

This crap always annoys me. It happens at LSU all the time, and I just don't get it. These kids are handed everything, and they go out and jump some kid, steal his wallet and use it to buy a candy bar. So you are going to fuck up your whole life for a candy bar?

It's been a rocky offseason for Alabama. There was a report a bunch of the kids were on the deer stuff that Ray Lewis was on, and now they have this. In the end, it won't really matter. Alabama is just a machine pumping out recruits, so even if (or when) they boot these 4 kids from school, you'll see it have very little affect on what happens on the field.
