It was announced over the weekend that JJ Abrams will be directing the new Star Wars movie. I am not the biggest Star Wars fan, but I respect it's place in pop culture. I am a huge JJ Abrams fan though. I thought he did an incredible job with Star Trek, I loved LOST, and basically every movie he has done I have been a big fan of. I can't wait to see his take on the Star Wars.
It was odd to hear him take it though, since he is already ropped up in Star Trek, and had denied that he wanted to be involved in this project, but they probably just threw all kinds of crazy money at him.
